Joyful Joyful #11: A GIVEAWAY A GIVEAWAY!!

In honor of last minute shopping, a last minute giveaway!

We are giving away a $10 Target gift card because:

a) it is such a pretty giftcard
b) I know you all have some last minute shopping you could do at Target
c) I have received so many wonderful compliments on my Joyful Joyful series, but no one ever comments. So, I thought I would make you comment so I know who is reading :)

Alright, here is what you have to do: Leave a comment describing your favorite Holiday tradition. You have until 11:00 am (pst) tomorrow (Saturday, the 20th) to comment. I will randomly pick a winner and send out the card tomorrow so that you can get it before Christmas. Please be sure to leave your email address in your comment (unless you know that I already have it).

Yay! Happy last minute shopping!

You are too cute! Hmmm, my favorite holiday tradition was always on Christmas morning. My mom would always make potato bread dough on Christmas Eve to make rolls for Christmas dinner the next day. On Christmas morning, she would take some of the dough and roll them into Orange-Cinnamon rolls and drizzle them with homemade icing. They would be hot and gooey straight out of the oven and us kids would devour them in our PJs! In fact, when I was with my family this past week, she brought some dough and made the rolls for us so that it would feel like Christmas. I love them!

My favorite holiday tradition as a kid was waking up for school, my mom had a fire going, christmas music playing & just the lights on the tree which gave off such a magic glow! The best way EVER to wake up for school on a cold morning!!

Merry Christmas, Courtney! :)

My favorite holiday tradition is putting up the Christmas tree the first weekend of December. During this time we love to visit, snack on appetizers, decorate the Christmas tree and share stories. Thanks for the chance!

My favorite holiday tradition is making frosted pretzels with all my kids and then shearing them with neighbors. We do this every year a week before Christmas.

ok..so now you have turned me into
a blog reader :) your blog is so cute and so you :)

my favorite christmas tradition is preparing/singing/rehearsing christmas music with worship team and christmas eve service. oh come let us adore Him.

Another favorite tradition was making christmas cards...some years when my son was small he drew the picture...I would ask him to draw angels or a manger scene or...and his were so fresh & cute... this year...well...um....I thought I was going to paint something or have a great family picture (as in all of us together at the same time)...ok , then maybe a Christmas letter with some cut & paste photos.... and as of today that has not happened yet.....so .....maybe it won't???
but would like to revive that one....

I apoligize for not posting comments before. I do LOVE your blog. One of my favorites!!! I have many favorite Christmas traditions, but... I do love the Santa Party we have as a family. Santa comes and brings presents for all of the kids; we sing songs. This year Santa is going to read from the "big red book." Definitely looking forward to seeing the kids' faces as he reads something special about them!!!

Merry Christmas!!!

Don't let me win! But this is fun!! My favorite holiday tradition is coming downstairs Christmas morning as a kid and my dad making homemade hot cocoa and making us drink the ENTIRE cup before getting any presents! Forced family time and it was like torture, but it was really a great memory each year, looking back!!

Of course we are reading! Okay so my Christmas traditions will soon change because this is my last christmas as a single girl- but mine is def. Christmas Eve. We visit my Aunt on my Mom;s side and she makes the most amazing tamales and hottest salsa ever. Then in lieu of gift giving we have a family poker game and play for the Christmas Pot! It's so fun!

My favorite holiday tradition is to snuggle down and watch Holiday Inn and White Christmas while eating yummy baked goods and sipping hot cocoa. It has become a family tradition. Merry Christmas!
