Jennifer & Michael on Southern Weddings

It looks like our brides are becoming old friends with Southern Weddings (which I am 110% okay with!).

Jennifer & Michael's wedding, shot by Chenin Boutwell, has been featured today!

Check it out here.

A fun cardbox idea

I was browsing blogs and came across this today:

What a fun idea for a card box! I am a big fan of modge-podging and I love the way that the bride incorporated her engagement pics in a really creative way. This beats a basket anyday!

Some fun blog news

I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Things are starting to slow down a bit over here, which is very nice. June & July were crazy busy!

I just wanted to let you know about a couple of things. First of all, the wonderful ladies at Elizabeth Anne just started a vendor resource library. Here is what they have to say about it: "We are incredibly excited to announce our new project, The EAD Library. After months of development and research, we are launching a new resource for brides. The Library is filled with hundreds of useful links, from photographers to shops to stationers. Our goal is a simple, comprehensive list of vendors. The Library will help every bride, no matter her location, find the vendors and inspiration she needs for a beautiful event."

Definitely check it out! We are honored to be included :)

Also, Southern Weddings has been having a contest giving away 100 Hello Lucky! invitations. It ends tomorrow, so hurry on over there and comment. I absolutely adore Hello Lucky! I have their sample box and love to just scour over the amazing letterpress designs.

Also, take some time to check out this wedding on Sarah K. Chen's blog. So many delicious details!

We are getting close to our goal for the Well Project. If you haven't checked out my husband's CD fundraiser, please do. I'll love you forever!

More to come this week. Happy tuesday!

Jennifer & Michael at Rancho Las Lomas

Rancho Las Lomas is one of my favorite venues to work at. Imagine my excitement getting to work there with a rock star vendor team and an amazing couple!

Jen & Mike are such a sweet couple and I so enjoyed helping them plan their wedding from New York. I absolutely loved that Jen was so concerned with the details- a dream for me! We had some bumps in the road leading up to the wedding, including two church changes, but the day turned out absolutely stunning!

The delightful Chenin Boutwell captured these:
The groom posted that cute sign on the bride's hotel room door. How sweet is that?

Absolutely gorgeous in the beautiful vintage Rolls from Classy Chassis:

Jen's amazingly sweet brother walked her down the aisle:
On to the amazing details. I loved loved loved the color scheme Jen chose. The deep red just pops against the tiffany blue. The incredible Allison of Flower Allie, Jen and I had a blast creating this decor.

The favors were yummy red velvet cupcakes from For the Love of Sugar.

Spanish details, such as spanish rose graphics and fan programs, were tied into reflect the Spanish architecture of the venue. The stationary was designed by Serendipity Designs

I loved the flower girl baskets. Jennifer had a wonderful idea with these. To honor the memory of both of their fathers, Jennifer had their names embroidered on the ribbon.

The beautiful and tasty cake is from The Great Dane Bakery. Invites by Cards de Luxe.

A beautiful moment during their first dance, which was to a sweet Jack Johnson song.
I absolutely love this picture of the flower girls during the ceremony.
For more photos, check out the post on Chenin's blog.

A big thank you to all of the wonderful vendors! Here is the rest of the lineup:
*Video: The wonderful Joe from Todays the Day Weddings
*DJ: The always fabulous Eric with SoCal DJs
*Linens: The lovely crew over at Fusion
*Catering: Craigs- a big thanks to Danielle & Daniel for being so wonderful to work with!
*Beautiful Strings: Fiddlestix
*Lighting & awesome TV's for slideshow: Rainbow Lighting

Jen & Mike: I hope you are having a wonderful time in Bora Bora and thank you for allowing me to come alongside you during the planning process. I loved working with you and your wedding day was gorgeous. Thanks for letting me be a part of the creative process- it was so fun! I wish you all the best and cannot wait to see you change the world one ER patient and child at a time!

Linked!

As you can see, I've been having fun changing my blog around. None of it is permanent. I felt like switching it up today and will be working on the new blog design over the next week.

If you haven't read my last post, please do :)

Just wanted to add that Jill & Harry's wedding has been featured on the Southern Weddings Magazine Blog. I am so excited and honored!

Also, I happened to find a photo from Heather & Gian's wedding on Style Me Pretty, taken by the lovely Jasmine Star. It is the one with the hearts & clothespins. Heather wanted to hang the guestbook notes somewhere, so we found a tree, hung some ribbon and it turned out wonderfully!

It's a good day in the blogging world friends!

Yay!!!

I am so excited I can hardly contain myself!

I have 3 tasty wonderful weddings to share with you this week. I have been so blessed this wedding season- I have absolutely loved all of my weddings and couples and the past few weddings have been my all time favorites.

I was going to go in chronological order, but I am so excited about these photos that I have to post them today.

A few weeks back, Jill & Harry flew over from England to have a small, intimate wedding in her mother's backyard. This is what happened:

The delightful couple:

Photos from the incredible Michael Norwood. Check out his blog for more.

I cannot tell you how much fun I had dreaming up every small detail for their wedding. Jill showed me the invitation that she liked and it all grew from there. She has a wonderful eye & style and we enjoyed coming up with all of those fun, bright touches.

I will post more detail shots in the coming weeks, but I wanted to let you in on my enjoyment of this wedding.

I'll leave you with a shout out to all of the amazing vendors who made this wedding ridiculously amazing:

*Flowers: Kristin with The Treasured Petal (my fav. florist- she really knocked this one out of the park!)
*Caterer: TGIS (yummy BBQ!)
*Rentals: Classic Party Rentals (Megan is the best!) & BBJ Linens (the perfect green napkins)
*Lighting: we did it! How much do you love those square lanterns?
*Cake: Erica O'Brien (isn't it simply gorgeous?)
*Sound: Fly By Night

I could look at this wedding all day long.
