Garret and Karyn's wedding took place at Casa Romantica in San Clemente- a sweet historical cottage overlooking the pier. Their wedding was very them- beautiful reds and oranges wrapped up in a Tuscan feel, including the use of food in the decor. They love good food and wine and went to Italy on their honeymoon, so it was very fitting and it turned out beautifully!
Here is a look into their wedding day, with photos by the amazing Amy Squires .
I absolutely adored Karyn's Melissa Sweet dress. Look at the detail on the back:

The Ceremony:
I love that Amy caught this moment! Garret always kisses Karyn's hand after a prayer. It is so sweet!
During the ceremony, they washed each other's feet as a reflection of Jesus washing his disciples' feet. It was very unique and moving. A bit of inside info: we actually practiced this a couple of times before the wedding to make sure it went smoothly :)
For the reception, we wanted to fit everyone outside in the courtyard, so we set the tables up in a large U-shape. It work out really well- guests loved the layout!
Centerpieces contained mixed hurricanes, manzanita branches, artichokes, grapes and loose roses. I loved it!
The cake, made by Jackie Mills (contact me for her information if interested):
A few more details:
I am using my better judgement and am not going to post a picture of my huge pregnant self in a dress that did not fit (It had to be a size 16 to fit around my belly and the alterations were terrible). However, I'll give you a little peak. Amy caught my niece taking a picture of me with my mom & sister:
The rest of the vendor team:

*DJ: Fly By Night
*Valet: Best Valet
*Officiant: Pastor Don Smith of Christ Community Church
