Need some paper lanterns?

I frequently order Chinese paper lanterns for my events through Cultural Intrigue. I have a wholesale account with them and am able to get them very inexpensively. They are a great way to spice up your decor. They also have all sorts of other fun goodies like fans, parasols and candle holders.

I will be placing an order this week. If you would like me to get anything for you, I would be happy to do so! Please check out their website to view their products and then email me (courtney at joyfulweddingsandevents dot com) for pricing.

Here is a sample of some of my favorite products:

Votive holders:

These votive holders can be hung or set on tables. They would be great favors or gifts too!:

These would be so fun for shower decor. Martha Stewart has kits at Michael's for making something similar from scratch, but these are cheaper & take no work. I like that!
These fans, as well as the lanterns and parasols, come in more colors than you can imagine:
Here are some pictures of how we have used them at events:

My sister-in-law, Lindsey, reused these beauties for her daughter's "under the sea" themed birthday party:

I have also used black & orange lanterns for a Halloween party, hot pink & hot orange for a sweet 16 party, a sea of white lanterns lit up to bring light to a dance floor and pink square lanterns hung from trees for a wedding ceremony. They are a fun way to bring in color in an unexpected way. They are great for lowering a high ceiling, especially in a tent. Here are a few photos that I love from Cultural Intrigue's website:

I love that the event above also hung parasols! So many fun ideas. A current client & I were toying with the idea of hanging parasols overflowing with flowers from a large tree at the front of their ceremony.

All that to say: If you would like to order anything, please let me know by next monday, March 3rd.

Oh how tempting! If you have those orange/hot pink lanterns, I may rent them from you. Just have to think what I might use them for. ;D

I heart paper lanterns! I shot a wedding in Mexico and they had paper lanterns at their reception! They are gorgeous to shoot!

D'oh! Looks like I just missed your order! I am getting married under a tent at the Heidel House in Wisconsin, and I want to fill the ceiling with fushia, orange and lime green lanterns.

Any idea what the light kits cost with your wholesale discount?
