Pics from the Green Event Studio opening

Here is a sneak peak into the Green Event Studio's grand opening:

A few shots of the beautiful decor by Lauren Hillary:

All florals by the Spiraled Stem
. Linens from Wildflower linens.

Me & Shannon in front of a really cool waterfall by Carving Ice. It can be programmed to fall in whatever shape or word you would like. I wish you could see it from the photo. During the event, they had all of the sponser's names running in addition to designs.

Ice Luge also by Carving Ice:

A few more detail shots, taken by Christine Farah:

A really fun idea. All attendees were asked to make their mark on a tree- we all left with green thumbs!

It was really cool to learn all about Veriflora certified flowers. The most impactful thing about the evening to me was that it benifitted Brides Against Breast Cancer. As a cancer survivor, I am a huge fan of this organization. To find out more, please click on the link above. Christine even donated her own wedding dress! Celebrity stylist Abby Aguilara is going to give a bride who is suffering from cancer hair extensions for her wedding. This almost brought tears to my eyes. When you loose your hair, you truly loose not only self confidence, but I remember not knowing what I looked like anymore. How incredible that one woman who is fighting her own body will be able to feel beautiful on her wedding day!

On a side note, Brides Against Breast Cancer will be having dress sales in Anaheim and San Diego this month. Be sure to check out their website for more info.

Best of luck to Christine and Maria with The Green Event Studio! I am excited to see it grow and change the wedding market.
