Venue Spotlight: Pelican Hill

I had the pleasure of having lunch and touring the just opened, redesigned Resort at Pelican Hill. It is absolutely gorgeous! The ceremony lawn is beautiful, the ballrooms are very elegant, but also neutral so that any color/decor scheme will fit well and the staff and food is at the top of the charts.

If you are looking for an incredible venue for wedding, be sure to check out Pelican Hill. You will be taken care of in every aspect of your wedding. Two of my favorite perks that they provide are a beautiful bridal suite right by the ceremony and reception sites, as well as a complimentary two room villa for the bride and groom on their wedding night. As if those were not already amazing, the resort supplies a Wedding Butler who will see to your every need throughout the day and even call you the week of the wedding to get requests so that they can stock your fridge for you. Talk about service!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will have a few weddings there in the next year. Definitely one of my new favorite OC venues!

San Clemente Bridal Show

We survived! The move went well. We are still exhausted and have too many boxes to unpack, but we are getting settled and caught up. Once again, I am reminded how much I dislike moving. However, I do love getting organized. Everything alphabetized, color coordinated, in its place and clean!

I wanted to write a quick post to let you Orange County brides know about a small bridal show that is taking place tonight. Irons in the Fire in San Clemente, which is owned by one of my favorite restaurants, BeachFire , is hosting a small wedding open house tonight. Here is more information:

I promised my sister-in-law Lindsey that I would post a picture of this. One of my recent creative projects:


I've had this vintage window for a couple of years and it last had some paper source christmas-y paper in the panes (from 2 years ago!). I got it out of the garage last month and had some fun with Amy Butler paper. I love how it brightens up our bland wall.

Yep, he just happened to be hanging out at the ABC meeting at the new Hard Rock Hotel in downtown San Diego. :)

By the way- the hotel is awesome. You have to check it out. It would be so fun to stay at and would be incredible for a fun wedding!
